WALLS INSIDE / 002. An edition of five. Hand-tagged over a classic Persian weave, then never made again.
We took a traditional medallion carpet — the kind that sits in every Cairo living room and gets stepped over for thirty years — and sprayed DO NOT TOUCH across the middle of it. The joke is that you will. That is the whole point of a carpet.
The tag is laid down by hand with real cans, so the pile takes the pigment unevenly and the ornament reads straight through the letters. No two of the five are identical, and none of them can be reproduced.

- Hand-sprayed, not printed — the pattern shows through the paint
